Neunhoffen-Dambach Casemate

The Casemate of Neunhoffen-Dambach is a vestige of the Maginot Line in Alsace, France. The casemate has been restored to its original state, depicting the daily life of a fortress crew and presents photographs from the period 1939 to 1945 in the Schwarzbach valley.

Natzweiler – Struthof concentration camp

The Natzweiler Struthof concentration camp operated from April 1941 until September 1944. During this time an estimated 22.000 inmates died to disease, exhaustion, maltreatment or execution by the camp guards. The former camp currently houses a museum and the European centre of deported resistance members.
