The Munich City Museum includes a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of National Socialism in Munich, starting with the end of the First World War in 1918 until 1945. Among other themes, the exhibition presents Munich as a centre of persecution and resistance, as the launchpad for the National Socialist movement and as the home of Party headquarters.
