The Black Triangle – The history of those persecuted as ‘antisocial’, 1933-1945

Homeless people, sex workers, single mothers, large poor families, the long-term unemployed. This is only a fraction of the highly diverse group of people who were labelled ‘antisocial’ by the National Socialists between 1933 and 1945. This exhibition tells their stories, in both Germany and the occupied Netherlands.

Liberation Festival Pilsen

Every May since 1990, Plzeň goes notionally back to 1945. The Liberation festival is held here and people from all over the world come here to celebrate the liberation by the US Army with the inhabitants of the town, military veterans and their families together.

Photography at war

From Dieppe to Juno

The Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles-sur-Mer is organising a new temporary exhibition "From Dieppe to Juno" from 12 March 2022 to commemorate the 80 years anniversary of the Dieppe raid.

Early Days

This new exhibition covers the events of 1938 to late 1939. Focusing on the team of early pioneers who set up the wartime codebreaking headquarters at Bletchley Park in the build-up to World War Two, this is a story of teamwork and ingenuity at a time of global challenge.

Militracks 2022 – Oorlogsmuseum Overloon

Militracks is on Saturday 14 May and Sunday 15 May 2022. The military collectibles market opens at 09:00, at the same time as the gates to the grounds open. The vehicles begin driving starting at 09:30. From that time, there will be on-going rides, with a short lunch break at noon. Militracks lasts on both days until 17:00.
